SUMMARY:Annual Zoo Trip 2024
DESCRIPTION:Kid-Tastic’s Annual Family Zoo Trip is scheduled for August 9\, 2024 between the hours of 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. \nImportant Things to Know \n\nThe center is closed on this day as all staff will be on-site for the trip.\nThe office will remain open during normal business hours 6am-6pm.\nStudents not attending the trip will need alternative care for this day.\nChildren ages 3yrs and older can attend without a chaperone.\nChildren ages 2 yrs old and younger are not permitted to attend the trip without a chaperone.\n\nFree admission to the zoo includes access to: \n\nZoo Exhibits\nTrain Ride\nBonus: Journey to the Ice Age Program\n\nAdmission is ONLY for: \n\nParents/Guardians of children enrolled at Kid-Tastic- (up to two adults)\nAll children must be enrolled and active in Kid-Tastic at time of service.\n\n\n\nFamilies can explore the zoo independently. Responsible adults must be 21 years of age or older. Students must be signed in and out from their designated teachers.\nAdditional tickets can be reserved at a discount for friends and family not attending Kid-Tastic. Please inquire with Amanda Davis to sign-up.\nPlease dress accordingly as the trip will continue even during inclement rain weather. This trip will not be rescheduled unless a severe storm warning for Milwaukee County threatens attendance.\nBag lunches are provided for all students registered for the Zoo trip. Parents can request a bag lunch in advance for up to two adults. Lunch is at 12pm in the Zoo’s main dining hall. Student lunches are provided. (personal lunches are accepted and food can be purchased at the zoo)\n\nArrival & Departure \n\nTeachers will arrive at the main gates at 9:30am for a team huddle. Students without chaperones can be dropped off to teachers at the main entrance at 9:30am and picked-up at the main gates at 2pm.\nFamilies must arrive to the main gates by 9:30am. Teachers will proceed into the Zoo at 10:00am.\nTeachers will return to the main gates at 1:45pm for departure and will wait with students until 2:00pm. Please contact the center if you’re running late.\nStudents must be checked out from their teacher before leaving. Teachers will depart the Zoo at 2pm.\n\nTransportation & Parking \n\nKid-Tastic will not offer any transportation services on this day.\n\nThere is no transportation to and from home/school on August 9th\, 2024. A proration will be automatically applied to all transportation accounts.\n\n\nThere is no entry fee for parents arriving to drop-off and/or pick-up. \nParking is not covered by Kid-Tastic.\n\nTo learn more\, download our Zoo Event Document that contains ALL the details!
